Task:
Manages projects in the Functional Area Deployment Program under the direction of the Functional Area Deployment Manager and performs whatever tasks are necessary to ensure project?s performance to scope, budget and schedule.

Plan and manage projects to deploy the application in the functional area:
? The Functional Area Deployment Project Manager receives priorities, schedules and resources from the Functional Area Deployment Lead
? The Functional Area Project Manager provides regular feedback to the Functional AreDeployment Lead
? Draw upon prior deployment experience to raise risks and issues that we may experience as we move through the deployment of the Tranches.
? D detailed implementation planning for the Functional Area Deployment Projects
? Escalate risks and issues to Functional Area Deployment Lead where needed

Preparation to Deploy:
? Establish agreed upon intermediate project deliverables for the deployment Tranches
Execution of the deployment, including
? Participating in the Functional Area User Acceptance Testing
? Assist Functional Area Deployment Manager to managthe pool of User Acceptance Testers
Management Reporting
? Maintain regular status reports in the OnePPM application
? Maintain plans with multi-level WBS with dependencies and constraints and manage to thplan
? Inform the Functional Area Deployment Manager of project progress against plan
? Prepare status reports and presentations to stakeholders

Requirements (Must have):
Management Characteristics:
- Project Manager currently, with 5+ years of large project experience
- Visionary to the pitfalls, opportunities and impact of a large scale deployment to a large Global organization
- Good interpersonal relationships

Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool:
- Experience with the CA Clarity PPM tool Deployment is critical preferably in a large financial institution
- Familiarity with current CS PPM tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Project Management expertise with large system implementation experience

Skills should include:
Planning:
- Ability to produce, maintain, and execute project plans

Financial Management:
- Ability to manage a project budget/financial plan

Scope Management:
- Management of any changes made to the project scope, schedule, cost, or quality with the Functional Area Deployment Manager

Interaction Management:
? Excellent written and verbal communication

Business Management:
- Ability to manage overall project resources, deliverables, costs and financial reporting
- Ability to assign staff to assure that proper staff skill levels are applied to individual tasks

Governance:
- Project tracking of team progress to plan

Issue and Risk Management:
- Ability to do risk analysis to identify risks whether external or internal that may impact success and documents and implements the alternatives and responses.
- Ability to capture project issues and oversees their resolution, or escalation to the program.

Supervision:
- Supervision of project staff and coordinate comprehensive status reporting
- Ability to coordinate availability and activity of project participants who are not project team members.

Tools:
? Uses and encourages stakeholders to use OnePP tool
