  • Work with stakeholders, designers, product managers, engineers, and other UX researchers to prioritize research opportunities and scope in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
  • Analyze research data and provide tactical and strategic insights by applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, and by understanding and incorporating complex user, technical, and business requirements.
  • Drive change by advocating research findings with actionable insights to diverse audiences through written reports, presentations, and hands- on collaboration.
  • Clearly communicate research agenda with cross-functional partners, understand and balance business requirements and technical constraints with user needs.

Skill/Experience/Education:

  • B.A./B.S. (completed) or MA/M.S./Ph.D. (in progress or completed) in Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Information Sciences, Human Factor Ergonomics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Track record of tactical and strategic (optional) research work that has directly impacted product, domain, or team direction or strategy.
  • Detail-oriented, extremely organized, and ability to work fully independent.
  • Can prioritize time between multiple projects, and adapt to changing schedules and different tasks.
  • High flexibility and willingness to (re-)act rapidly if needed.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and comfortable with multi-tasking.

Desired:

  • Experience in quantitative research design, research methods, and statistical analysis.
