Technical Lead at Onsite (Germany, Ulm)
Java Technical Lead with 7-8 years experience, especially in troubleshooting, debugging and understanding existing code and implementations
Experience on supporting COTS application able to understand the high level picture and create the efficient approach to learn the details
Architecture/Design experience on Integration Frameworks and Patterns, ESB, Database to Database, EAI (IBM WebSphere ESB or similar ESB products)
Understanding of Data Models and ability to troubleshoot dataflow issues within applications.
Familiarity with Database technologies, Oracle, SQL Server, Access databases.
Experience on Leading Cross Functional/Technology Team for the Application Support
Desirable Manufacturing Domain experience and prior experience of working on Operations and Logistics applications
Agile Experience
Knowledge and experience on Agile Process and DevOps especially on SLA's and KPI's management
Confident and fluent in giving presentation to middle management both from within and outside the organization and capable of responding to questions from the client
Presents ideas, status reports and recommendations which are comprehensive, concise and error free
Responsibilities
Work with Software Vendors (In Case of COTS) and Development team (in case of in-House applications)
Monitor and ensure timely closure of Tasks/Incidents received by the team through Service Now, over e-mail or telephone
Providing training to users/super-users on application as required.
Must be able to act independently and take a proactive approach to tasks considering the team implications
Lead technical discussions with the team and provide direction/decisions for Setup/Configure applications as required by the project
Provide inputs/recommendations on Application support to Functional Management
Maintain/develop standard reporting practices
Coordinate and interact with Project/Senior Management on support related issues
Leading/Facilitating Triage and Root Cause Analysis Exercises.
Lead the Service Design & Deployment team.
Work toward process improvement.
Supporting Application Managers in all the service design and application deployment activities and processes.
Maintaining release activities
Interaction with vendors and suppliers.
Plan and develop tasks/assignments for team members
Ability to lead and keep team motivated and efficient.
