Specialist System Varification Medical Devices area (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Task Lead and manage system verification test efforts on projects involving in-house and outsourced teams for timely completion of system verification projects.
- Define and implement device test strategy together with SW and HW development teams.
- Write and execute test plans for system verification test development and formal test execution that include effort estimates, schedules, and resource assignments. Control and participate to the test execution.
- Design, develop, review, and execute test procedures.
- Support requirements engineer, review requirements for accuracy and testability.
- Mentor less experienced test engineers.
Main qualifications
- 7 - 10 years relevant industry experience
- BS engineering, physics or computer science (Elektrotechnik?)
- Experience in a test lead capacity working with core development teams and managing a test project to efficiently driving the test project to completion
- Experience writing test plans (effort estimation, scheduling, resource allocation), analyzing test results, and writing reports
- Experience in SW testing and SW test automation
- Experience contributing to product design and requirement definition to ensure product testability
- Experience managing internal and external test resources
- Experience defining relevant test metrics to monitor test project progress
- Experience participating in product requirements reviews, design reviews, test reviews, and change control activities
- Experience using Microsoft applications (Word and Excel)
- Experience with the application of test principles, theories, concepts, practices, and standards to improve test processes and practices across multiple projects
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
- Bonus:
- Experience using Polarion, DOORS, Jama, JIRA, Git, Jenkins
- Experience and/or training in medical devices or other regulated industry
- Knowledge of risk management for medical devices ISO14971 (Desired)
- Experience with ISO 13485, ISO14971 Risk Management and IEC 60601, IEC 62304
