For a customer in Frankfurt, Germany we are currently looking for a

Project Manager (m/f/d)

Scope of work
- Ensuring the company's interest in the management of the external service provider
- Check that compliance with all contractual agreements is properly monitored
- Monitor contract-critical service provider obligations and coordinate the related commercial aspects of the outsourcing contract
- Monitor compliance with all customer commitments and change requirements (contractual obligations)
- Participation in regular vendor meetings and reviews, if necessary deriving change needs in the terms and relationships of contracts
- Edit and resolve escalations for contractual disputes; also in exceptional situations (disruption, crisis)
- Ensure that appropriate controls of service provider processes and service areas are implemented
- Negotiating with and controlling external contractors in the IT environment
- Controlling the contract library including consistent retention of all contract documents
- Coordinate the requirements for all amendments to the contract as well as ensure the contract adjustments to changed business requirements of the customer
- Design and control benchmark activities to monitor the service provider's performance against industry standards
- Designand and further development of contracts with external service providers in cooperation with Purchasing

Skills required
- Relevant (specialist) university studies (preferably business administration or law) or comparable commercial professional experience
- Many years of experience in the management of service providers with large-volume outsourcing contracts or many years of experience in purchasing
- Experience in negotiating and controlling external contractors in the IT environment
- Very good technical understanding of the tasks, platforms and applications of an in-house IT service provider in the respective specialty
- Analytical skills, innovative and strategic thinking, ability to solve problems in a complex environment / solution orientation in exceptional situations
- Strong assertiveness and entrepreneurial action
- Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams
- Negotiation-proof German and English
- Willingness to travel
