We are looking for a Business Intelligence Project Manager in the area of Vienna:Job Summary
The BI Project Manager is responsible for planning and execution of BI Projects in the area of Business Intelligence (Management Information Systems, Reporting Tools/Cognos, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, BI Dashboards, Data Quality Management).
He/she is in charge of establishment, operating and monitoring uniform and efficient project management processes for his/her projects in the area of BI. These services have to be based on RI GPMO rules and industries best practice, e.g. PMI
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manages group-wide programme or multiple international projects.
• Establishes project/program objectives and provide project deliverables with attention to scope, time, budget and quality
• Covers all aspects of Project/Program Management (from project/program marketing to project/program initiation and planning to Project Follow-Up like budget monitoring, resource management to Project closing), according to the GROUP IT Project/Portfolio Management Guideline and/or the RI Group Project Office Program Management Methodology.
• Accomplishes project objectives and provide project deliverables with attention to scope, time, budget and quality. Ensuring effective and professional communication.
• Acts as a single point of contact for IT and NWB managers on BI-related issues.
• Argues the mission of the project with entire group of stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication and coordination with involved parties.
• Ensures steady, effective communication to all project/programme stakeholders, the Business-Intelligence Competence Center (BI CC) and IT-Management
• Represents BI Project Management team at steering committees and project related meetings
• Fluent in English is a must
• Willingness to travel
Job dimensions
• Responsible for the programme/projects in terms of budget, progress and quality based on the RI GPMO Methodology and PMI
• Works in close cooperation with:
o Head of IM CC / BI PM
o Project teams in HO and NWBs incl local project managers
o IM CC team leads
o RI GPMO
o RI BI Competence Center
o RZB business and IT department
o all other department heads in RI-IT
o RI group program- and project-managers
o Management, stakeholders and users in the HO/NWBs
