Data Vault Architect - Munich, Germany

We have received instructions from one of the world's most innovative insurance firms for a Data Vault Architect. This exciting and challenging project is happening in a beautiful and vibrant city in Germany and will provide long term (12months +) job continuity and lots of job satisfaction.

Required Key Skills and Experience:

  • Coordinate with other areas of the IT department, OBT and the business to design the functional data model for an integrated landscape and to produce conceptual and technical designs based on the requirements
  • Experienced in implementing ETL in data warehousing (Minimum 5 to 8 years)
  • Data Vault certified and hands-on experience in implementing the same methodologies in data warehouse (Minimum 3 to 5 years)
  • Deep knowledge of PL/SQL (or similar), DWH modelling techniques. SAP HANA XSA experience is an advantage
  • In depth evaluation of existing architecture/systems/processes
  • Creation of solution concepts
  • Analyse, study or examine business, functional and technical requirements in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions
  • Technical, process and functional knowledge in the financial or insurance area
  • Knowledge of data and transactional application architecture and best practices in the industry
  • Reverse engineering capabilities, ability to understand and review code written by others
