The Supervisor - Construction
Responsible for the installation of the electrical/process control technology, from Power supply, grounding and lightning protection and communication technology.
Main responsibilities:
- Familiarisation with the planning and installation documents
- Supporting the installation manager in all aspects of E&I technology
- Knowledge transfer to the construction team
- Representing the client's interests in all E&I matters
Main tasks:
- Construction site organization
- Determining the agreement procedures with the contractors
- Control of the installation organization and work with regard to
- Assembly organization
- Quality Management
- Allocation of work between contractors
- Security
- Progress
Technical tasks/QSGU
- Compilation of information for quality assurance (including the BASF risk list of specific
equipment)
- Implementation and coordination of inspection and test procedures for installation (eg loop checks)
- Spot check of the installation of electrical equipment, distributions, control loop cabling and electrical test requirements
- Spot check of the installation of measurement and control equipment, fittings, valves and system checks including the loop checks
- Participation in class A loop checks and documentation review
Procurement
- Assessment of change messages (scope changes, change orders)
- Invoicing of installation services based on the quantity calculations of the contractors
- Personnel planning
- Support of the construction manager in personnel planning
- Drawing up the requirements for sending experts and submitting them to the construction manager for approval and forwarding them for final approval Controlling

General Tasks
- Consultation with the engineering team in questions of design changes on site as well as
Interpretation of E&I specifications and standards
- Control of the transfer of the assembly documentation to the assembly company
- Tracking the delivery of E&I equipment to the site and checking the storage concept
- Support of the preparations for commissioning as well as support during the handover of subsystems
