We are currently looking for a Provider Manager for our client in Düsseldorf

Language: English fluent, + one other language (e.g. German, French, ..)

Background:
The provider manager has a coordinating and monitoring role in the service provision of the service provider.
The providers inform about the status information relevant for Provider Managers via the agreed reporting. The provider manager checks and clarifies contract deviations with the provider, ensure that the external party delivers on the requirements according to the agreement, including cross-functional program management to qualify new IT services, supporting issues, developing new suppliers and Support Auditing Suppliers (KPI) to ensure process conformance

Tasks
Supplier evaluation:
- Implementation of regular CSI processes with the providers
- Evaluate Key Performance of Global/ Regional External IT Service Providers
- Support local IT teams to evaluate Local External IT Suppliers by providing appropriate dashboard.
- In cooperation with IT teams (Service Owners, Operations, …), support the development of the operational working model with Major IT Suppliers
- Communication management and financial management with the provider
- Define appropriate provider specific KPIs aligned with overall IT Requirements
- Develop and agree with IT teams (Service Owners, Operation,…) a strategy for each IT providers/ suppliers

Ensure implementation of regulatory and risk management processes in cooperation with Service Owners teams and Operations in respect of strategic IT providers.

Innovation and investment management
- Support concerned IT teams to develop and to manage key Risks with external IT Providers.
- Support continuous improvement activities with the Service Owners, Operations and the IT teams, in general, to ensure that external services are aligned with future IT requirements.

Contract management
- Supply Deviation report and ensure that Provider Agreement will be updated accordingly by Contract and Sourcing Managers
- Align Supplier Performance with IT Provider and with contract management if penalties not applied (depends on the cases)
- Trigger formal contract changes between the provider and client IT (to be conducting by Sourcing and Contract Management)

Problem and conflict management
- Support conflict management against all Global/Regional IT providers
- Define Escalation Matrix for Local Key IT Contact (mainly SDM and OSS teams) to support conflict
with local IT suppliers
Accompaniment of tender and provider selection:
-Support the sourcing strategy in collaboration with IT Sourcing and Contract Management teams

Main skills required :
- Strong experience in Supplier management and Supplier Development
- IT background and/ or Service Management background + Risk Management
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong analytical
- Abilities to negotiate contracts (internally and externally)
- Strong Conflict management skills
- Experience with continuous improvement of processes
