I am currently working with the world's largest Mobile Services client who are looking for a Cisco Voice Engineer.
Key skills and experience:
Skills:
Strong communication skills in an AV, VC, and broadcast environments.
Provide a solid foundation in video communications engineering and a track record of developing A/V, video conferencing and broadcast solutions.
Be involved in the direction of overall internal video communications technology and in improving the quality of the existing and future systems used globally!!
Key qualifications
Experience engineering and developing large scale integrated AV systems.
Solid experience with audio and video design.
3+ years of experience and knowledge of Tandberg, Cisco and Codian video conferencing technologies.
3+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering conference room, studio, broadcast or event AV.
Knowledge of network operations best practices and production systems.
Knowledge of video and audio codecs (H.264, MPEG4, AAC, etc) and media streaming architectures (HTTP adaptive streaming, RTP/RTSP).
Job Description
Employee will be responsible for supporting Apple’s existing AV and Video conferencing , broadcast network systems and infrastructure.
Employee will collaborate and recommend both tactical and strategic video, networking and collaboration capabilities.
The employee will play a vital role in the standardisation and simplification of the Apple video systems
Team with peer IS&T groups in delivering video and broadcast services as defined by management.
Develop internal staff documents for event analysis, troubleshooting support, network infrastructure documentation and maintenance procedures.
Education
2 or 4 year degree or related work experience
Germany language an advantage
