For our client, a global IT we are looking for Information Security Officer (f/m/d) on a freelance basis for Munich.
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 3 Months (with extension planned)

Responsibilities :
- be the Point of Contact to respond to the client’s security questions.
- coordinate security issues across the various towers and teams to find, develop and implement security processes and supportive documentation
- ensure contract compliance for all security aspects
- identify potential gaps in the existing security practices compared to the client expectations
- be directly involved in documenting and resolving all major security events and incidents
- coordinate various information security activities within the client environment, such as vulnerability scans, access control audits and security awareness and training.
- work with client auditors and regulatory authorities as required
- develop, if needed, and distribute various security documents that are used by the service delivery team or are required by contract.
Your Skills:
- Typically a minimum of 7 years of experience in business within a professional services or advisory/consulting organization.
- Good working knowledge of ISO or other relevant information security frameworks e.g. Cobit / Nist etc. Certification as lead implementor / auditor is a pre.
- Experience and preferably certification in the field of (information) security such as CISSP, CISA or CISM.
- Successful in operating across a matrixed organization, understanding the key stakeholders and how to influence in order to achieve key outcomes
- Enthusiastic communicator with client facing capabilities
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
Languages:
- Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
- German language is a big plus
