For one of our clients we are looking for an Application Manager

Task:
Consulting in Application Management – Sales & Trading
Advise moving applications into cloud
Manage hardware/software lifecycle refresh
Follow up on the IT documentation for the in-scope managed application/services - used tools to create the documentation are Microsoft World / PDF – the initial documentation already in place + discussions with the Project team for any discrepancy or major differences to be updated. In many cases the consultant might not update the documentation but only follow up with the experts who can document these updates.
Create best practise documentation - used tools to create the documentation are Microsoft World / PDF – based on his activities the consultant has to document the best practice he used to overcome / solve any issues he faces
Communicate and coordinate task with relevant stakeholders (users, partner resolver groups, internal process stakeholder)
Analyze application management life cycle and identify any area of improvement for client Processes practiced within the Application management life cycle for applications in scope (i.e. Incident Management, Change management, Problem Management) but no steering regarding the implementation of improvements
Consult the Application Managers in Incidents, requests and identifying resolution path and take the needed actions to achieve the solution for the Business users supported by Sales and Trading

Required skills:
Studies of Information Technology, Business Informatics or Technical Engineering or equivalent IS experience
Several years of hands-on experience with Trading applications - support operations.Profound knowledge of trade life cycle process, related business process, information flows & data structures as well as functionalities like Deal Capture, Risk Management, Back Office process like Settlements, Confirmations
Technical skills on Windows platforms and related products also client products as Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams); Linux working knowledge would be an advantage.
Experienced with cloud (e.g. Azure) based application operations and cloud based environments
General knowledge on key network infrastructure elements (DNS, DHCP, routing, proxy), scripting (Powershell, Bash), security components (like Active Directory) and DBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Broad & deep knowledge of end-to-end IT application support process, solid operational experience in application support/issue/Incident handling; project management experience is a plus
At least ITIL v3 Foundation certified, preferred ITIL v3 Intermediate certified
Ability to lead root cause investigations, Analysis, reviews with internals & external parties/suppliers
Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Should be German and English
Logical thinker, able to own, investigate and resolve problems and incidents & issues, resourceful and creative with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Experience with working in project teams is an advantage.
