Task:- A position as a Database Developer within an intercultural team responsible for a Credit Risk application
- The opportunity to design and implement database related changes according to business requirements
- Challenges and development opportunities on areas such as performance tuning, software quality and software delivery process
- Opportunity to coordinate and follow up tasks related to database infrastructure for all environments (from development to production) in cooperation with our clients' database team
- Opportunity to coordinate database releases and contribute in code reviews for database related changes
- Collaboration in the 3rd Level support of the application
- Close cooperation with the Requirements Engineers
- Exposure to a broad range of financial products
Requirements (Must have):
- University degree or similar educational background
- At least 5 years experience in Oracle database development with PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of Oracle 10g, Oracle ETL tools and Oracle performance tuning tools/utilities
- Know-How in developing shell scripts on Unix (Solaris)
- Experience in Java development (JSF, Spring, JUnit) and Object
- Oriented features of PL/SQL is a plus
- Good Financial Products background (Derivatives)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German language skills desirable
- Dynamic and proactive personality
