Product Owner / Product Marketing Manager - Vehicle Diagnostics - 6 Months

***50% Remote Working Model**

The Role:
Manage the Vehicle Diagnostics Product Marketing/Product Owner activities for the Vehicle Diagnostics & Maintenance Solutions Business Line that supports execution of the global & regional strategy which allows the client to develop the right products and services, win with customers and drive profitable growth.

Principal Accountabilities:

Act as the product owner in the SCRUM team for upcoming Diagnostic software development projects
Gather local and international market insights: data on competitor products, customer needs, market prices and other market trends
Develop operational marketing plans and lead the tactical execution with sales
Description;

1. Act as the product owner

Manage product backlog, sprint and release-level economics
Participate in the portfolio-, product-, release-, and sprint-planning activities
Groom the product backlog
Define acceptance criteria for each product backlog item and verifying that they are met;
Collaborate with the development
Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders
Write user stories for clearly capturing the evolutionary system requirements

2. Gather local market insights

Visit customers in field to support sales efforts, identify and understand customer needs, opportunities/challenges
Track and analyse competitor’s value proposition, product offerings, recent actions, developments and trends
Share insights with the team to enhance customer economic model and provide guidance into our product portfolio strategy

3. Develop operational marketing & sales plans

Lead development of go-to-market plans that support the strategy across the regions via customer segmentation and targeted offerings, activities & communication
Lead deployment of new global marketing products, solutions, and services across the region
Manage product life-cycle plan; develop and periodically revise product portfolio strategy to enable the business to reach desired potential
Monitor sales performance and pro-actively propose actions to close potential gaps
Propose business development activities for existing products & services to commercial team

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years in strategic marketing and business development position with exposure in the Vehicle Diagnostics software / Telematics industry
- Required knowledge of the Vehicle Diagnostics / Telematics software industry.
- Fast learner, conceptual and analytical, system thinker with strong strategic capabilities, understanding complex networks and its inter-dependencies
- Ability to shape and engage globally diverse teams
- Decisive & result driven
- Computer skills
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
- Flexible to travel
