Requirements:
Strong understanding across Azure infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure engagements that includes assessment and migrations
Good understanding about the Azure lift and shift migrations
Handled database migrations from SQL Server or Oracle migrations.
Exposure to various Migration tools like ASR
Experience with MS Azure SaaS, PaaS, DevOps
Experience in Azure IAAS service and components - Azure VM, Storage, Networking, Database
Should have good knowledge on Microsoft azure recommendations.
Should have good understanding of windows & Linux operating systems, SQl & Oracle Migrations
Worked with CloudMo/Factory projects is an additional advantage.
Good knowledge in Datacenter services - Infrastructure Architecture including Active Directory, Backup, Networking, Compute, Capacity Planning
Experience in handling Critical Migration projects and handling Migration Team
Any Scripting language (Perl, PowerShell, Python) is an added advantage
Candidate should have good analytical and communication Skills to explain and convince Enterprise Customers.
Responsibilities:
Own the end to end technical responsibility of successful delivery of the build or migration project
Work closely with architect, client, local project manager and other IT stakeholders as applicable
Lead the cloud migration engineers and provide technical SME guidance and perform troubleshooting
Evaluate the requirements and determine actionable tasks, estimates and provide efforts for migration scenarios
Assess the workloads and prepare a migration runbook and execution task lists
Work with client and architect to determine the volume throughput for migration and prepare for any deviations in the work stream project schedules
Prepare documentation to delivery/support teams and conduct workshops
Prepare test plans and execution
