Basel III Reporting Business Analyst (Private Banking)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Business Analyst with extensive knowledge in Basel III Measurement and reporting and proven experience in Private Banking. Overview of business area or project:
A challenging position in the global Basel III Measurement & Reporting team whose mission is to measure, report and assist in managing the firm's Capital Ratios including Eligible Capital and Risk Weighted Assets as well as the Firms Leverage Ratio. Main focus of the role is, supporting the SME in all tasks in the context of the regulatory project.
Main responsibilities:
Support the SME in introducing a regulatory project from business side:
- Attendance in various project working groups
- Contributing to requirement specifications
- Review of various documents in the context of the project (eg Requirement documentation, Testing documentation)
- Over all module documentation from a business point of view
- Close collaboration with IT and other parties for the purpose to clarify requirements
- Accompany implementation and testing phase including assessing the quality and completeness of test cases and assessing testing results with respect to expected results with the goal having a solution adhere to the highest requirements regarding correctness and overall quality standards
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Over 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience in Basel III Project work
- Fluent understanding of Private Banking business and related banking products
- Good IT affinity, understanding of Data flows
- Good SQL programming skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good command in English and German
