Task:- Develop, test and accept the Windows 7 Base Client Environment (BCE 7.0)
- Prepare and deliver BCE 7.0 pilots located across CH, ES, NA and UK so as to
verify readiness and maturity of BCE 7.0 and associated service elements
- Develop, test and agree the deployment approach for BCE 7.0
- Determine country deployment timing, priorities and risk areas
- Develop and agree the overall BCE 7.0 deployment plan
- Identify and manage deployment dependencies to ensure they are aligned with
the BCE 7.0 deployment plan
- Verify operational and deployment readiness
- Regularly assess deployment progress and take proactive corrective actions
where required
- Deploy BCE 7.0 to over 55,000 clients across North America and Europe
Requirements (Must have):
- In-depth experience of delivering projects in globally sourced environment
- Ability to work in a global, geographically distributed environment
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Able to develop strong and mature relationships with each of the eWP
countries coupled with the ability to influence those local teams
- Excellent programme and project management skills
- Comprehensive global supplier management expertise
- Able to work autonomously and / or part of global team as and when required
Nice to have:
- Formal project management methods e.g. PMP
- Desktop development and deployment projects
