Aktuell suchen wir für einen unserer Kunden in der Versicherungsbranche einen Technical Big Data Platform Architect (m/w/d).
Aufgaben:
• Design of and personal responsibility for the management of parts of the global big data and analytics platform using Azure cloud based PaaS/SaaS services in accordance with IT security requirements as well as in line with an operating model in conjunction with the lead architects in the section and with Enterprise Architecture Management
• Responsible for planning, managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development teams and implementing defined Azure based technologies to extend the global big data and analytics platform
• Coordinating the product life cycle for technologies within the big data and analytics platform, i.e. design, implementation, IT security sign-off, release management, deployment, etc.
• Actively shaping the ongoing development of global communities for big data/data analytics
• Providing support and advice on issues relating to predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, data/text mining, big data and analytics and products and technologies relating to these areas
Skills:
• Very good knowledge of IT acquired in various positions (project management, requirements engineering, consulting, etc.) and therefore an in-depth knowledge of the processes in software development (agile project methodology, object orientation, etc.)
• Many years of experience in designing application and platform architectures and as a software engineer
• Independent way of working, sense of responsibility, and a keen interest in technology-related topics
• Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills allied to the ability to present complex situations in a clear and understandable way
• Very good Azure architecture skills: VNets, connectivity between Azure and on-premises, Azure AD, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, integrating various Azure technologies according to IT security requirements
• Very good Azure (architecture) technology skills in multiple Azure services: HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL Server, Azure Datalake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Power BI, Azure Search, Azure ML, Databricks, Cosmos DB
• Very good skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Powershell / ARM Templates, Azure DevOps (Build Pipelines, Release Pipelines) and Ansible
• Very experienced in day-to-day management of IaC developers
• Strong client focus, good negotiating skills and the ability to be assertive when necessary
• High level of commitment and flexibility in terms of area of assignment in the section, and a willingness to master a wide range of what are sometimes complex tasks
• Fluent spoken and written business English
