2. Senior DBA - Oracle/SQL Server Certified
3. Proven track record of DB run and operations activities in a large scale environments (min. Several 100 DBs)
4. Hands on experience in Azure IaaS
5. Good hands-on experience in Azure DB PaaS
6. DB migration experience with different sizing (small - big data)
7. Azure PowerShell Scripting and Bash Scripting
8. RequestTracker, ServiceNow, Zabbix, GridControl, SSL Certificates
9. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory
10. ITIL Basics
Responsibilities
1. Provision IaaS databases in Microsoft Azure VMs (primary scope Oracle and SQL Server)
2. Perform IaaS Patching for databases on Azure
3. Perform, consult and automate DB migrations and DB migration processes
4. Perform DB backup/restore activities
5. Manage DB life cycle actions automation for Azure IaaS DBs
6. Provide backup and recovery services for Azure IaaS DBs
7. Implement new service related changes to existing VMs
8. CloudControl monitoring for Public and private Cloud Oracle Servers
9. Monitor IaaS DBs in Azure and HPE Hybrid Cloud and perform proactive analysis to mitigate risks
10. Perform POCs for new Services based on Uniper requirement
11. Provide 24/7 on call support service (mainly done offshore only)
12. Managed Service requests
13. Incident, Change and Problem Management
14. Maintain documentation related to scope of work
15. Perform HPE Hybrid Cloud Oracle DB Orchestration (server capacity and utilisation management)
16. Provide process improvements in existing services
17. Understand the technical requirements and support project teams with setting up the environments for their applications in both the clouds
18. Incidents/Issues resolution support - coordinate between teams and take it to closure
19. Support & manage resource housekeeping and identify areas to save cost
20. Provide recommendations to improve existing internal processes & automate wherever applicable
