Global leading Client is currently recruiting for Scala Developer that has experience Spark and Scala. Based in Germany, Herzogenaurach. 6 month rolling contract paying up to 700 Euro's per day
Essential skills and experience for the Scala Developer that has experience Spark and Scala.
- Experience with data processing and manipulation in Scala (Python a plus)
- Experience with integration of data from multiple heterogeneous data sources
- Experience with data processing, warehousing technologies such as Spark, Hive
- Experience with SQL and Datamodelling
- Understanding of NoSQL Datamodelling
- Analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Experience with file formats (eg Parquet; json)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, we use AWS (S3, EMR)
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline and CI&CD automation
- Understanding of NoSQL Datamodelling
- Understanding and using REST API
