Ausgangslage der Anfrage:An application based on Oracle DB and PL / SQL should be lifted in the medium term in the Google Cloud (GCP). Currently, the various migration strategies are being examined and evaluated.
Umzusetzende Leistungen:
* Review and evaluation of selected migration strategy
* Reviewing or creating the cloud concept as well as the target architecture (IaaS & PaaS)
* Creation of a proof of concept (PoC) on the GCP. This would either be
- Exemplary migration / modernization of parts of the system to the GCP
or
- Re-writing of selected use cases on the GCP (cloud native)
* Guide and train the team for further implementation and next stages
Fachliche Anforderungen:
Skill (Prio1): Knowledge and experience in using the Google Cloud Services (e.g., Google Cloud Spanner, Google Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, DevOps services, Google Apps Engine, Kubernetes Engine, etc.)
Skill (Prio2): Database Know-How (Oracle DB, PL / SQL)
Skill (Prio3): Experience in Cloud Native Development at the GCP
Skill (Prio4): Experience in migrating legacy systems to the cloud (ideally from Oracle to GCP)
Industry knowledge: Ordermanagement, Logistics & Warehousing (nice to have)
Project language: English
Other knowledge and comments: >1 year experience with the GCP expected
