The Project
My client is re-factoring their platform and the underlying infrastructure. They urgently require a DevOps Specialist to assist in their current project.
Several demographically distributed data centres will be merged to a central data zone and the architecture of the platform will be transformed to more asynchronous communication, using event based architectures.
The new underlying infrastructure will be hosted on two data centres (AWS and own managed DC) for cost and performance efficiency reasons.
You will be a full member of my client's 6-pack Back End team (incl. PM)
Working closely with the CTO and the data science team on innovative challenges
Working closely with your team members on delivering the needed infrastructure
What they expect:
Proven experience in containerisation using Docker, Kubernetes
Proven experience in Scripting & templating skills (Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, )
Experience in network isolation
Addressing DNS, VPN, VPC,
Experience in Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Postgres, Java, Maven, Gradle
Experience in Cyber Security & Cyber Threat Intelligence
Experience in Key Management, certificate management, as well as Encryption techniques.
Fluent English
Resident in Berlin
