Embedded Software Engineer (ADAS) - Freelance position
Location: Germany/Sweden
Rate: €75 - €85 per hour
Duration: 6 month initial contract
My client who are based in Germany and Sweden are looking for multiple Freelance (ADAS) Embedded Software Engineers to join either site, for a 6 month initial contract with the view to extend. They are market leader in the R&D innovation space for Europe and offer the prospects of being a part of cutting edge technology projects.
Job Responsibilities of the Embedded Software Engineer
- Develop low-level Embedded software for RTOS/Linux Real Time targets on x86 or ARM cores.
- Be a key contributor to specifications, design and implementation of tools
- Work with architects, engineers, designers, testers and managers in multiple locations as needed to understand the requirements for the tools
- Develop and Implement modules that will meet the requirements of today and scale up for future requirements
- Create and document software and modules design/implementation
Skill Requirements of the Embedded Software Engineer
- Proven experience in C/C++
- Experience in the development of tools used in ADAS testing and automation
- Deep knowledge of how to root cause or debug issues through the entire SW development life cycle
- Strong knowledge in creation of high quality cross platform reusable software
