The following functions I don't show in the video
- Global lists
- Export/Import
- Cloud: Sync, Registration, Delete Account, Reset Password
- Share lists within a team
The client is in JavaScript, the server in Python/Django/SQLite.
The domain host is Variomedia and the webspace (Django incl. Apache, HSH-Server and WordPress) is on webfaction
ToDo:
- Restore operation
The GUI flickers and is no longer operable. The top priority is to restore operation at all - advanced features like cloud or list sharing are secondary. I heavily assume that it that's because it cannot connect to the server.
- Fix Cloud functionality:
The next step is to restore the cloud functionality. For example the registration page http://hsh.cayronccc.webfactional.com/signup , where you currently get a 400 error.
- Fix invite function: Even after restoring cloud funtionality, sharing lists won't work anymore, because even before the the above two problems occured, accepting list invitations didn't work anymore. The invitation command creates links in the format http://hideseenhits.com/invitation?accept=yes&list=DevOps in York&address= and opening them leads to a 400 error. The developers had implemented encrypted addresses in the format http://hideseenhits.com/invitation/sdf3q29fjh38asdfjdfh/ in the meantime. Maybe it's because the server expects the latter.
