FPGA Engineer - 65 - 80 EUR/hr - Immediate Start - 12 months - Goettingen, Germany
The current client offers intelligent security solutions that enable a smarter, safer world. As the market leader in network video, they are driving the industry by continually launching innovative network products based on an open platform - delivering high value to customers through a global partner network. They are looking for an experienced FPGA engineer to assist them in a 12 month project.
Responsibilities:
- Development of video signal processing in high-end camera systems
- Requirements analysis, conception, implementation and integration of complex algorithms (VHDL)
- Simulation and verification of designs through automated testbenches/scripts
- Commissioning of FPGA designs as well as metrological verification of the programmed interfaces
- Independent implementation of designs in complex specifications
- Documentation and review of FPGA designs
- Collaboration in a motivated project team
Requirements:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, Embedded systems, information technology or comparable
- Experience in FPGA design and simulation (VHDL)
- Experience in timing analysis and constraining for high speed systems is an advantage
- Knowledge in CMOS sensors and/or image processing desirable
- Customer orientation and a strong communication and team skills
- High commitment, initiative and willingness to learn
- Good German and English spoken and written
