We are currently looking for an operational excellence consultant for our Energy client in Düsseldorf
Start: 01.04.19
End: 31.07.2019
Location: Düsseldorf
Volume: Fulltime (40hrs/week)
Design and Implementation:
- Delivering impact (adding value, time saving and cost reduction), and to a lesser extent build capabilities and create cultural shift
- Deep dives to understand root causes, design and implement solutions to most important challenges of the business
Capability Building and Deployment:
- Training (boot camp) and Practical Applications
- Building capabilities, creating cultural shift and delivering impact
- Lay Foundation for a sustainable Management System
- Through training, coaching and learning by doing (practical applications), enable the business to embed OE ways of working in to their day to day work and continuously improve what they do:
Training for team leaders to ensure they can apply OE tools to their day to day work
Workshops with teams to ensure knowledge transfer into the whole organization
Covering a comprehensive set of tools and principles to ensure the flow from standardize to manage and operate and improve is understood
Task Description for an OE Expert:
Consultancy in the area of Operational Excellence Management with the aim to deliver in time and on budget a wider project portfolio of the currently ongoing
Operational Excellence Projects across the client organization.
This includes:
- Delivering implementation and apply Operational Excellence DCB approach in the business projects in line with the Operational Excellence competencies
- Ensuring capability building according to our standard implementation approach
- Ensuring coaching of business colleagues to adopt the OE approach and to implement Operational Excellence tools
- Consulting for steering and monitoring overall implementation and manage tasks by delivering assigned project work packages
Skills:
- Outstanding knowledge of Operational Excellence respectively lean management (mandatory)
- In-depth coaching and leadership consulting experience
- Sound experience in moderation of workshops, trainings etc.
- Project management experience
- Experience in change management
- Pronounced and addressee-oriented communication skills across all hierarchy levels
- Conceptual competences
- Strong teamwork, high implementation orientation and customer orientation
- Enjoy working with people, natural sensitivity to group dynamics
- Readiness and enjoyment of direct interaction
Need to have:
- Didactic skills to teach topics from the OE environment
- Strong "technical" knowledge on problem-structured problem solving (PDCA) and process optimization
- Strong skills as workshop leader, trainer and coach
