Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities) Responsible for maintaining and optimizing Hadoop clusters
Responsible for the implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure including monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting
Provide support to users in line with agreed SLA’s and according to best practices on service request, incident and problem management
Triage production issues when they occur with other operational teams.
Work closely with infrastructure, network, database, business intelligence and application teams to ensure business applications are highly available and performing within agreed on service levels.
Write automation code, scripts for managing large Big Data clusters
Participate in the on-call rotation supporting the infrastructure
Hands on to troubleshoot incidents, formulate theories and test hypothesis, and narrow down possibilities to find the root cause
Maintaining cluster health and HDFS space for better performance
