For our Customer in the UK, we are looking for a Unit Manager m/f with native englisch and fluent german experience.Responsibilities:
- Disciplinary responsible for all aspects of people management of the following teams in the Region West: IT Infrastructure Project Management and IT Infrastructure Integration Management
- Functional and technical responsible for IT Infrastructure Project Management and IT Infrastructure Integration Management in the Region West
- Performance management: objective setting, supporting reviews and appraisals, learning & development, agreeing development plans and objectives in alignment with F2 manager; ensuring professional and skills development of staff
- Responsible for the supporting of guidelines and procedures (Guideline competence)
- Staffing the units with appropriate employees of Integration and Project Managers
- Cooperation with Project Management Office in the Central Region to meet corporate governance regarding standards, methods and tools
- Qualifying the requests for project managers and assigning qualified project managers
- Managing and coaching the projects managers and supervising in specific project situations
- Assuring that all team members are performing projects according to the rules given by our Customer
- Support of all processes like forecasting, reporting etc. necessary to manage the overall tasks
- Close cooperation with the management team of our customer to fulfil the requirements of the daily business
- Potentially performing program management for complex projects Qualifications
- Profound in project management and people management experience
- Profound knowledge of project methods, standards and tools, certification like PMP or similar preferred
- Familiar with the business behaviour of IT system houses and the requirements regarding IT infrastructure of large enterprises
- Knowledge of current developments within the IT industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly engaged and motivating others in a challenging environment
- High ability to act on senior management level and to perform relation management
- Business fluent knowledge of English
