For a customer in the banking industry we are looking for an "Oracle PL/SQL developer (f/m) with excellent knowledge of Oracle 11gR2 PL/SQL, SQL and analytical functions".Start: asap

Responsibilities :
• data modelling
Requirements:
• German is project language; conversational english is additionally required
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle 11gR2 PL/SQL, SQL and analytical functions
• Experience as Oracle PL/SQL developer, developing ETL code to load data warehouse/data mart applications
• A clear understanding of data-warehouse concepts (e.g. fact tables, dimension tables, SCD, etc.)
• A clear understanding of Oracle features related to data warehousing, such as star transformation, bitmap indexing, partition exchange, etc.
• The ability to methodically identify sub-optimal application/database operations using a clear, evidence-based analytical approach to remediate issues: for example, using query plan analysis, the PL/SQL debugger, SQL tracing and so on.
• Experience in dimensional modelling for new applications and to extend or modify an existing application.
• Experience using data modelling tools, for example Erwin or Power Designer
• Experience in designing ETL processes: for example, data staging, consistent job restarts after failures and managing exceptions
