Job description:
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Network infrastructure;
• Operate, monitor and maintain the existing Network landscape including Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Prime, Cisco ASA and Riverbed components.
• Configure and deploy new services in the entire environment (9 locations worldwide);
• Working on projects regarding system updates, rollouts and new applications
• Continues Service improvement to all services
• Close co-operation with service providers;
• Contribute to IT security policies and procedures;
• End user support/ 2nd level support
Job requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience in the field of Cisco Device configuration and management;
• Ideally know-how in Cisco VoIP, Network Security and the TCP/IP Protocol;
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
• Willingness to expand knowledge to other services
• Experiences in managing multinational vendors and providers;
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail with a pronounced drive for solutions;
• Project management capabilities
• Service orientation, self-motivated and proactive;
• Good team player, ability to work to tight timeframes;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills to work with people over a distance (e-mail, phone)
• Conversational German and English language skills
