For our customer in North Rhine-Westphalia we are looking for an Application Landscape Specialist (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Analyse the current application server environment on premise with the focus on certain middleware products and application services
- Work out detailed migration plans (run books) for each application to be able to migrate to new platforms
- Implement necessary server configuration changes, migrate certain applications to the AD-/DC-world
- Rebuild server platforms on premise depending on the agreed migration strategy
- Create test plans for these migration activities
Your qualifications
- Fundamental experiences in a version control, release and deployment tool like Team Foundation Server or others
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of various middle ware products such as WebLogic, IIS, Java Runtime or equivalent
- Fundamental development skills in Power Shell
- Experience in Windows and Linux servers
- Experience in clustered server environments
- Experience in monitoring tools like AppDynamics
- Knowlegde of data center migration projects
- Experiences with ORACLE databases or SQLServer are desirable
