Software Architect - Business Intelligence (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Designing the processes within data warehouse and big data
- Creating and maintaining data models
- Writing and reviewing the documentation
- Maintaining the non functional requirements
- Ensuring high quality and usability of developed applications
- Providing the guide lines for development teams
- Proposing improvements, innovative solutions and technologies for data processing and Business Intelligence
- Realizing proof of concepts to validate new technologies and techniques for data processing
- Providing an overview of modern technologies for data processing
Main qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field, or profound equivalent work experience as a Software Architect for Data Warehouse and Big Data (m/f/d)
- Experience with the definition and controlling of ETL processes as well as big data technologies for data processing in an Hadoop environment
- Excellent SQL skills
- Knowledge of product platforms like Big Data, Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub, Oracle, MPP databases, columinar databases, Bl tools
- Understanding of tools such as Ant, Maven and Jenkins, Soapui, jUnit, Jira, Confluence
- Experience with agile software development processes and techniques (e.g. SCRUM)
- Experience with Linux operation system
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience in electronic payment processes and applications would be a plus
