Data Engineer - Freelance - 3 Months - €700 p/dA fantastic opportunity to work in the headquarters of a global market leader with offices all over Europe. The company is a big name and you will be working in an exciting and vibrant environment with some of the best technology in the market alongside some of the most highly skilled Data Engineers in the industry. You will be working on a game changing project for a 'Top 10 Company' to work for in German.
The Data Engineer will have strong experience creating containerized applications using Docker. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer from a strong Software Engineering background who is strong with Java and Docker. Experience with Python, Hadoop and Spark would be a bonus.
Role:
*Develop and implement models using prototypes & proof-of concepts
*Optimization, development and implementation of solutions within data pipelines (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes)
*Use of service oriented architecture, creating containerized applications and functions, especially in cloud is a bonus.
*Creating Python modules.
Skills:
*Strong Python
*Experience with PySpark and Hadoop
*Previous experience working with Docker or Kubernetes.
*English Speaker needed
*3+ years of experience
