For a project with our Client, a major Player in their field, we are looking for a Senior Rollout Engineer & Coordinator (Windows & Azure) to act from Munich as the homebase of the project (some possibility of remote workRollout global automated Patch and Deployment Tool
Replace current patch infrastructure by one global patch tool (623000 Windows servers 621000 Linux servers 62300 DBs)
R2P handling
Technical validation
Manage established process fulfillment
Manage Wipro Delivery
• Prepare Service Now for patch solution (Wipro)
• Implement an automated method to include downtime information for new servers
• Update all downtime information in Service Now for current CIs
• Installation of the product in Azure Environment
• Installation must also cover distribution endpoints in core locations
• Function test: One emergency rollout to all NONPROD servers at a regular Saturday patchday
Decommissioning:
• Remove agents where possible
• Completely remove or disable patching capabilities
Must have:
5+ Years experience in similar fields of work
Windows Server Patch and Deployment - enterprise experience
Azure IaaS Management
IT Infrastructure Global Project experience - Very good coordination and communication skills
Nice to have:
Service Now- Change and Asset Management;
Linux deployment
Azure deployment
Hybrid Cloud Management
Oversees Provider management
