Senior Developer (m/f)

Main tasks:
- As Senior NodeJS Developer, you will assist the existing team of eight developers as well as support them with help and advice on implementation
- Design and creation of Relational databases with normalized, fact table based or generic approach
- Programming of database backend procedures in a 3-Tier application architecture serving Web Backend calls
- Development of Integration packages for onboarding and processing external data streams (this could be inhouse data from different platforms as well as external data provided via Web Interfaces, plain text files, Emails, etc.)
- Development of reporting services for paginated standard reports, management reports and self-serviced reports on desktop and/or mobile platforms
- Database maintenance like performance analysis, job scheduling, user administration and log observation
Main qualifications
- You hold a degree in mathematics, IT, natural sciences or technology from a state-recognised university; you may also be a similarly qualified developer
- You will possess an excellent knowledge of the following technologies: Node.js/Express.js, GraphQL - and Rest, Microservices, Mocha and Chai
- Solid experiences in React 16 with Redux and a good understanding of relational and non-relational databases are highly appreciated
- Your credentials will also include a sound knowledge of GIT, JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
- An excellent command of English is second nature; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Your responsiveness and adaptability will enable you to operate confidently in a dynamic environment
- You are able to collaborate with global staff
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and keep pace with technical/operational innovation
- Prior experience working in the banking industry or large financial organization is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)
