My client is an award winning games studio looking for an animator to come onboard for a 3 week contract to skin next generation, realistic character meshes on the provided existing joint setup with a maximum of 4 influences.
Job Responsibilities
- Recognising proper mesh topology whilst repairing and giving feedback to the 3D modelers;
- Carrying out the skinning of characters to meet the requirements of the existing animation and project setup;
- Ensuring good use of project's technical constraints;
- Delivering a clean Maya scene following the initial setup.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of body anatomy and mechanics;
- Extremely proficient in Maya;
- Brilliant rigging and skinning skills;
- Good knowledge in modelling and animation;
- Good knowledge of 3D-related mathematics;
