Ihre Aufgaben:
- Responsible for the development of the locomotives' cooling and ventilation systems (includes the cooling for propulsion equipment (converter, transfomer, diesel engine) and ventilation for motors and machine room)
- Support also heating and air conditioning of the driver's cab
- Design the complete functionality, from the concept phase to the commissioning and homologation
- Creation of the functional specification, the software specifications, the safety analysis, the supplier specifications, the circuit diagrams as well as the documentation for the different components and their mechanical interfaces
- Together with the suppliers you will accompany the development, the type test as well as the final inspection
- Lead the final commissioning of the function on the locomotive
Ihre Qualifikation
- You have a degree in mechanical or process engineering (University/University of Applied Sciences) and you have gained good knowledge in mechanical construction and detailed knowledge in thermodynamics and heat transfer, preferably in the railway industry
- Fluent English is required for this role within an international environment
- Further language skills, especially German and Italian, will represent an added-value
