R Coder (m/f) - part time

For our client in Munich we are looking for a R Coder (m/f) - part time on a freelance basis.
Project Start: January 2019
Project duration: 12 months +
Project hours: part time, about 20 hours a week, flexible
Location: Munich
Tasks:
- Conception of the ETL processes under specification of the target database structure in coordination with the DWH managers in Life Financial Solutions.
- Implementation of ETL templates in R, Embedded in the given code structure
- Conception of the deployment processes of the created import packages
- Migration of all existing ETL processes from SSIS to R
- Quality control
Skills:
- 3 years experience in R-coding and databases (ETL processes)
- Several years of experience in the R programming language, especially in conjunction with a database (RODBC Package, DBI Package).
- Several years of experience in design and implementation of ETL processes.
- Sound knowledge of the database, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (or higher)
- Experience in creating R packages as well as in dealing with an R server, ideally also with Shiny and reports in R.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Professional experience in reinsurance/primary insurance
- Knowledge in the areas of life and health insurance
Language: English fluent verbal and written (mandatory), German nice to have
