Background:
The assignment is to support the SAP implementation project in the areas of Project Planning and Reporting, Financial & Resource Management, Issue & Risk Management and Project Governance by providing the appropriate methods and tools for project management and the individual cross-functional teams in tracking their work, i.e. definition, introduction and administration of appropriate methods and tools for the work planning, progress tracking and status reporting of the entire project and/or sub-project.
The PMO additionally supports project management in all financial and legal matters regarding the project. He oversees all financial aspects of the project and prepares appropriate reporting on those topics to all relevant levels. He supports the PM in Vendor management including contracts, invoice verification, billing and payment.

Responsibilities:
? Support of project planning and progress tracking
? Overall responsibility for project office administration and management
? Setting up and updating all deliverable trackers
? Definition of standards, procedures and tools for work planning, progress tracking reporting
? Overall responsibility for project office administration and management
? Enforce accurate time tracking, status reporting by teams and individuals and escalation in case of missing compliance.
? Supports the Project Management in resource and budget planning and tracking
? Supports PM to measure and monitor progress of the deliverables and the project KPI’s to ensure that the business capability is delivered on time and within budget.
? Supports the PM in budgeting processes, cost controlling incl. tax implications and reporting on financial metrics
? Identify potential solutions, working with others, keeping in mind the project goals and the overall goal of project
? Works with and through others to achieve alignment around the course of action that is best for the project management

Requirements:
? Extensive (8 years+) Project Management / PMO experience in similar project
? Deep knowledge in project management methodology and large ERP implementation projects
? Experienced in PM methodology and tools
? Very good communication skills
? Basic level of business acumen and SAP solution architecture understanding (8+ years).
? Basic understanding of business processes in the area of Finance, Material Logistics, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering
? Knowledge of financial processes (US GAAP) and organization
? Project controlling experience
? well-organized result-oriented achiever and have an analytical thought utilizing multiple sources of data/input
? Very strong skills in Planning, Organizing and support of project tasks
? High ability of supporting Team members and cooperate with other business and IT functions
? Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate & influence executive business partners and IT
? Able and willing to work in an multicultural environment with high time pressure
? Multicultural experience in international environments
