Task:This role requires excellent technical skills in a Microsoft .NET environment for developing new applications, implementing additional functionalities required by the business, maintaining the existing application suite and realising future enhancements. In particular, this role requires the candidate to work closely with HRIT architecture team in defining and implementing .NET solutions for the Regional Application Framework team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for development & maintaining runtime environment for .NET applications in HR IT. Strong technical leadership in all areas of data design, implementation and administration is required as well as the will to participate in day-to-day development work.
Requirements (Must have):
The candidate is expected to have previous industry experience in software development on the .NET platform using the following tools/technologies:
- ASP.Net with C# (.Net framework 1.1 to 3.5sp1) ? Minimum of four years experience in ASP.Net development. Candidate must be competent in using Visual Studio and 2008.
- Microsoft Web Services
- HTML, CSS, XML, XSD and JavaScript is a must
- Oracle knowledge and SQL Server 2005 or 2008 is a must
- Solid SQL and database design knowledge is a must

More than 4 years experience working on Microsoft .NET / C# development projects
Understand object-oriented design techniques, .NET best practices, Unified Modelling Language (UML)
- Have knowledge and previous experience on configuration management, experience of using Clearcase is desired
- Strong background in developing and maintaining large-scale data processing applications
- Experience in a Windows-centric software development environment and strong knowledge of the associated tools
The candidate must have a higher level degree in the field of software engineering as well as 4 ? 5 years IT experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Ajax will be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS) will be advantageous
- Past experience with financial industry and HR processes is advantageous
- Microsoft/.NET certification is advantageous
