Ihre Aufgaben:
- Support and coach the client team manager to become the future Windows 7 / Office strategic solution architect
- Support, guide, coach and provide governance to the client team to get the most out of the Windows 7 / Office project from the perspective of strategically using all Windows 7 / Office potential in its surroundings (services, processes, compliancy, security, settings, etc.)
- You will define a 3 year roadmap for the IT workplace client development, based on an architecture picture around Windows 7 / Office based client that will be created, taking into consideration the surrounding landscape which contains active directory, security, license management, asset management, software distribution (Altiris), collaboration, etc.
- The approach has to ensure a set up of the new workplace that delivers the maximum out of Windows 7 and Office in conjunction with its surroundings
- Ensure knowledge transfer and training on the job for the client team manager and the Microsoft Business Solutions Manager
Ihre Qualifikation
- Extensive in-depth knowledge of Windows 7 & Office architecture, capabilities, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
- Advanced understanding of client services management in general
- Client image design based on Windows 7 64 bit
- Office configuration
- Security
- Software distribution
- License management
- HW asset management
- Group policies
- Excellent strategic thinking and visualizing skills
- Ability to think long term, visualize the future architecture and the return of investment for the organization
- Ability to explain/present the new W7 / Office strategy, architecture and roadmap on middle management and vice president level
- MS Office configuration knowledge is a must
- Excellent English and German
