Ihre Aufgaben:
- Develop requests for proposals (RFP's) in cooperation with the internal customers
- Conduct evaluation of RFP responses for suitability and conformance to company's needs and specifications
- Responsible for the negotiation, development, execution and performance management of contracts established with CROs and key suppliers of clinical services, laboratory and further associated services
- Identify potential problem areas and drive resolution on all issues relating to delivery of goods or supplier's performance under National Agreements. Issues shall include but are not limited to quality, delivery, price and overall effectiveness that achieves the highest level of value possible for the company
- Handle administrative tasks such as contract tracking tool update and maintenance; follow-up on contract status with internal customers and external vendors
- Support in the implementation and improvement of new tools, templates and reports in the Clinical Outsourcing department
- Work on cross functional teams to facilitate supplier enablement at a level that brings maximum value to the company
- Prepare special and recurring reports, and present information to various levels of personnel
- Principles and techniques of negotiations, as well as contract writing (e.g., statements of work and terms and conditions)
- Negotiate contracts/agreements/budgets and influencing decisions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships both with the internal as well as external community
Ihre Qualifikation
- University degree in Business, Chemistry or in a related field
- Profound purchasing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or science related industry
- Strategic sourcing principles and processes
- Knowledge of Clinical Development outsourcing as well as of the CRO market landscape
- Language skills (Fluent English and German a must; further languages advantageous)
- Strong skills in utilizing computer systems and software applications including SAP, Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) etc.
- Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
