Beschreibung
Task:- Receive specifications from the Engineering department and write the test procedures.
- Develop the test procedures for all train systems based on engineering documentation, customer specifications and company and vendors information.
- Include details on instrumentation (number of signals, transducers, chart recorders etc?). Obtain approval for the test procedure
- Fully responsible for the technical execution of the test: Ensure procedure has been approved, that the train is in a ready to test condition, that the instrumentation is installed properly
- Perform continuity testing of all electrical systems, detect any problems and correct problems when possible.
- Complete functional testing of mass transit electrical systems to assure that they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and repair subsystems as needed to complete functional testing.
- Analyze faults, repeat problems and develop preliminary means of improvement on such problems.
- Assist in the training of junior and intermediate technicians.
- Design test equipment to be used in functional testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Document all results of functional testing (including passing and failing results of the test and issue test report, support the system engineer.
Requirements (Must have):
- Testing experience in a manufacturing industry,
- Expertise in train/aerospace testing,
- Knowledge of all relevant systems & parts.
- Experience in Quality Assurance in Railway or aerospace industry beneficial.
- Experience in working in an international environment.
- Problem solving skills
- Improvement skills (e.g. Six Sigma).
- Ability to think in processes.
- Commited Team Player, open to various cultures and diversity.
- Must have sound electrical aptitude.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel and work overtime, odd hours, weekends and various shifts as required
Environment/Miscellaneous:
The job-holder will be multi-skilled and required to work as part of a team of test engineers. You will be required to work on tests that will be held in China. The design being done in Germany, you may have to spend a few months there to get familiarized to the high speed technology.
The position entails writing test procedures, instrumentation, executing the tests, fault finding and writing test reports with support from the system engineer.
