Task:Lead Consultant for global SNC project
- The project will deliver a global SNC template, used across different sectors of our customer
- The project is currently entering build phase (business requirements have been documented and passed to the technical team for delivery).
- The SNC template solution together with 3 rollout projects will be delivered during 2010 / Q1 2011.
- Initial rollouts include supplier integration within the consumer & sectors, in the EMEA region.
- Subsequent rollouts are planned for 2011 in North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
- Further enhancements to the initial global SNC template may be initiated after the successful completion of the first rollouts.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Work together with business & technical teams to review business requirements / evaluate technical solutions for the global SNC template.
- Coordinate the review of functional specs provided by the technical team, consulting business and IT teams in different regions / sectors where necessary.
- Define the test approach for User Acceptance testing for the SNC template solution with the ECC systems in pilot rollout regions.
- Work with the technical team to review the test approach for system testing (integration / regression / volume & stress).
- Support the business teams in structuring, organising, and carrying out UAT of the global SNC template (including preparation of test scripts & pre-UAT training to business testers).
- Support the technical teams in identifying appropriate solutions to issues raised during testing.
- Coordinate the process for planning & executing technical and business cutover for the template solution and subsequent rollouts.
- Support the requirements gathering process for rollout teams and review requirements specifications to identify gaps / issues.
- Provide input to the rollout teams for solution design / functional specification of SNC-ECC integration / impact of SNC on planning processes in APO SNP.
- Provide input to the training lead where SNC knowledge is needed to prepare training materials / to define the training approach.
- Support the definition of background job schedules required in SNC / regional ECC systems for the rollout projects together with business & technical teams.
- Coordinate the process of hypercare support following go-live for the global template and initial rollouts.
- Follow J&J / SDLC processes for project management & change control.
Requirements (Must have):
Minimum experience required:
- Experience implementing SNC in large multinational organisations (modules: PO Process, Dynamic Replenishment, Release Process, Contract Manufacturing).
- Minimum 2 years SNC experience. 5 years + SAP experience (preferably APO).
- SNC integration via B2B connectivity (EDI & XML), as well as via web portal and semi-automated upload/download functionality.
- SAP Portal integration with SNC.
- Use of SAP cFolders together with SNC / ECC processes.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC (SD, MM, PP), BW, APO (SNC, PPDS).
- Strong communication skills and experience working closely with business teams for requirements gathering / UAT.
- Fluent English, written & spoken.
- Visa-ready for travel in EU and Switzerland.
Preferable additional experience / skills:
- Integration of SNC with multiple backend ECC systems.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
Environment/Miscellaneous:
- Based in Zug, (with occasional travel)
