On behalf of our client, a prestigious and fast growing international Telecoms company, Manning Global Group is looking for a Planning and Optimization Manager for a permanent/contract position based in Germany.


The main responsibilities are:

• Realization of network planning and optimization of projects for commercial GSM/UMTS/LTE networks.
• Definition of workflows & Scope of work for the planning & Optimization projects.
• Implementing of performance improvement & trouble shooting activities.
• Developing and review of planning & optimization guidelines and processes.
• Organizing of internal and external training for the team as well as preparation of customer workshops
• Technical Support to presales projects for planning and optimization issues
• Definition of project & team budget
• Development & specification of RFQ´s related to planning & optimization activities.
• Analysis of commercial offers from partners & clients.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in Wireless, Access or Core telecommunication projects.
• At least 10 years of experience in network planning and optimization.
• In depth knowledge of GSM/UMTS & LTE technology.
• Experience with MS office, MS Project, MS Visio and database tools.
• Knowledge of at least one programming languages.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• International work experience and knowledge of vendor and operator experience would be a benefit.
• Driving license and eligibility to live and work in Germany.
• Ability to lead a team with people from different cultures.
