Lead Developer

£600 per day (including expenses)
3-6 month rolling contract

Our client a large data and market research company are looking for a to join their exciting new project on a contract basis.
The project
The organisation are running a large data processing system to obtain market research insights from Point of Sales (POS) data provided by retailers. The goal of the initiative is to automate the programme as much as possible. The automation includes the generation of proposals to accelerate the manual process.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of the existing system architecture (structure, performance)
- Creation of a new architectural vision for the whole system (microservice based)
- Integration of new smart services
- Coaching of the development team as "Lead Developer"
Essential skills
- Experience with Complex Data Architecture
- Experience with Oracle DB
- Strong experience with C# (.NET)
- Experience with Microservice Architecture
- Knowledge about JavaScript web development frameworks (preferably ember.js or angular.js)
Desirable
- Experience with AWS, Python, Elastic Search
