Laufzeit: 3+ Monate

Jobbeschreibung:
• Experience in implementing, upgrading and supporting/administering Linux systems (SLES, RHEL) in an enterprise environment
• A very competent understanding of the Linux architecture
• Knowledge of incident, change, problem and configuration management within an ITIL framework (currently service-now)
• Knowledge of VMware
• Deep knowledge of Linux cluster administration (Pacemaker / RedHat Cluster)
• Deep knowledge of Puppet (language and infrastructure)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• The development, maintenance and delivery of build images, including experience of using the automated image deployment mechanism
• Linux performance analysis and tuning
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
• Shell / Perl scripting
• Identification and exploitation of cost saving and/or service improvement opportunities
• Effective knowledge transfer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer skills, confident communicator and team player
• The ability to manage and own issues, small and large, on behalf of the department and work unaided to support systems during agreed support hours
• The successful candidate must be a highly motivated team player who is service and customer focused and signed on to pro-active management
• The role requires an ability to take on a high level of responsibility quickly and deliver against agreed business targets
• Flexible working covering between the hours of 7am-5pm is required and must be available to carry out ‘standby’ and/or weekend working as required
