Aufgabenbeschreibung:
IT fachlicher Schwerpunkt:
· Must: Datenbanken: Sybase oder Oracle / Windows SQL Server
· Nice to have: JAVA, Big Data, Hadoop
Key Responsibilities:
· Development and maintenance of Risk IT databases
· Strong interest in business requirements and understanding of data within DB
· Analysis and coordination of existing change requests and requirements
· Optimization of database performance, stability and data processing
· Accurate version control and audit conformity at production handover
· Daily production support as normal 2nd and 3rd level support
· Creating documentation (source code documentation, IT architecture, production relevant information)
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in numerate subject
· Basic mathematical skills
· Understanding of architectures and design principles (design patterns)
· Good understanding of investment banking products (options, swaps etc.) and risk workflows (credit
and/or market risk)
· Performance monitoring
· Good conception thinking and engineering skills
Technical experience:
· Long IT project experience (agile programming)
· Strong understanding of IT database architecture
· 4+ years’ experience of IT database development and optimization (Sybase ASE 15.7, Sybase IQ)
· Very good experience in SQL programming (incl. Stored Procedures) and query optimisation
· 1-2 years’ LINUX / UNIX scripting
IT Knowledge:
· Must: Datenbanken: Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, Transact SQL, Stored Procedures, Sybase WorkSpace, Eclipse,
SQLServer
· Linux: Scripting mit Linux Shells (bash, ksh) und Perl
· Frameworks/Libs: Spring, Seam, JSF, Struts, Junit, JQuery, Hibernate, WebServices , WebStart, ZK,
SWT, Lucene u.v.m.
· Dev Tools: Java: Eclipse, Jasper/iReport
· Build/Version Management: TFS, SVN, MAVEN, Continuum
· Application Server: JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat
· Others: UC4, Perl, jDiff, HP Service/Quality Center
Personal skills:
· Eager to learn business context (traded products and risk)
· Understanding of state of the art project development (agile programming)
· Very good communication skills in English
· Highly motivated with a keen perception
· Good communication skills with business and IT
