We have partnered with one of the world's most well-known automotive brands that are creating new electric vehicle products, capabilities and services.
We are in need of an enterprise architect responsible for delivering Business Architecture and Solution architecture activities across the Electric Vehicle landscape. The candidate should have strong application design and development experience and have experience in architecting cross-functional IT solutions.
A deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts, API solutions and data management is critical. The need to re-use existing technical architecture solutions that align to the company's patterns and standards is key to increasing speed to market. Candidates should have solid working knowledge around the following competencies:
Essential Skills/Working Knowledge
- Strong Solution Architecture knowledge with experience in providing technical solutions for projects
- Strong Business Architecture knowledge including processes, requirements definition, Capability Models & Business Interface Models
- Experience with interoperability standards and methods of exchanging data effectively and securely
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud platform solutions (eg AWS, Azure, PCF)
- Experience of 3rd party SaaS integration
- Vendor solution evaluation processes and buy vs. build assessment
- Experience architecting public facing solutions
- Ability to engage with the Product delivery team to design, develop and document the solution
- Experience with Java technologies, Rest Web Services, Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, MVC and Spring Cloud Services), messaging architectures, PCF, micro-services
- Knowledge of industry standard Java frameworks, architecture patterns and design patterns
- Understanding of highly available scalable global architectures.
- Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project team
- Full application/Agile system development life cycle knowledge and experience
- Excellent problem solving skills including leading problem solving teams
- Outstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level management helping in decision making
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize work across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and within groups
- Negotiation skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders/customers
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to pivot as project direction/goals change
