- One of the models has reached the end of its life-time. The model is GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) based, with a lot of Excel-based data – partly in a very poor state
- The team is located in Stockholm and Hamburg
Python Programmer (m/f)

Duration: 3 MM
Main tasks:
- Provide programming support
- Develop and operate power market models to provide market analysis for trading activities as well as for strategic decision making
- Prepare the move to a new model
- Develop a concept for a new data model to handle the massive amount of data
- Implement the new data model: move data from old GAMS code and Excel into the new data environment
- Program modules for the new data model (Python)
- Develop clean, comprehensive and maintainable model code
Main qualifications
- Solid knowledge in Python/Pandas, AzureSQL, Apache Cassandra NoSQL, Docker Container
- Fluent in English
- Project management experience
- Know-how regarding Azure-based analytics platform
- GAMS and Power BI know-how is beneficial
- Ability to work in a very structured way to develop clean, easy to maintain code
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communicator and team player
